COLUMBUS — A freshman lawmaker’s bill that proposes oversight of gaming at so-called Internet cafes has been backed by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine.
House Bill 195 would set the groundwork for regulating gaming at Internet cafes, including sweepstakes parlors and skill game operations. Among the restrictions included in the bill is a ban on the sale or consumption of beer or intoxicating liquor in any location licensed for such gaming.
