Underage Decoys Established As Enforcement Tool

The enforcement of underage access has dramatically changed over the past decade.

In the past, enforcement officers would receive an anonymous complaint that a certain alcohol beverage establishment was selling to underage patrons and state liquor agents would stake out the establishment to determine if the complaint was valid. If they observed a youthful appearing subject purchase alcohol, the permit holder would be issued a citation for underage sales of alcohol.
