Drinking Age Amounts To Discrimination

A lawmaker from Alaska recently floated a proposal that would allow anyone 18 and older with a military ID to drink alcohol in the state.

The idea is not the craziest thing to come out of Alaska in recent years, nor is it the first time it’s been considered since the states were blackmailed into raising their drinking ages to 21. Several years ago, South Carolina saw similar legislation introduced, and ignored.
