Beer Institute Revises Advertising Standard Based On New U.S. Census Data

WASHINGTON (PRNewswire-USNewswire) — The Beer Institute recently updated its Advertising and Marketing Code based on new data released by the U.S. Census Bureau.

The BI will adjust the Code’s ad placement threshold to reflect a slight increase in the number of adults 21 and older in the United States, which now totals 71.6 percent of the population, up from 70 percent in 2000.
