Kasich Signs Gun Bill, Budget Drops Liquor Issues

COLUMBUS — Gov. John Kasich last month signed legislation allowing concealed carry permit holders to possess their weapon in liquor permit premises.

Senate Bill 17 was among a number of bills signed by Kasich on June 30, including legislation implementing the state’s biennial budget. That measure became law without several beverage alcohol-related provisions which has been added during the 6-month long budget debate.
