STATEHOUSE SALOON — A full-service bar is opening soon in the Ohio Statehouse, but concealed carry permit holders will have to leave their sidearms at home. According to the Associated Press, the new bar to open in an existing cafe in the lower level of the capitol will serve beer, wine and liquor, and will be open to the public at certain times. But unlike other permit premises in the state which lawmakers recently opened up to concealed weapons with the passage of Senate Bill 17, the prohibition on guns in the Statehouse will extend to the new pub.
