Vodka-promoting Blimp Slips Moorings, Crashes

COLUMBUS — What originally was planned as a day of cocktails and airship rides ended up being a recovery mission for the crew of the Hangar One vodka blimp.

The blimp and its crew were in Columbus last month for a promotional “landing party” that promised food, fun and a cocktail contest among local bartenders. There was a landing, all right, but not the kind organizers expected.
