CINCINNATI — A federal appeals court here upheld a 2007 Ohio law which enacted numerous restrictions on sexually oriented businesses.

The U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals on Sept. 7 upheld a 2009 federal district court ruling which found the law — which includes a no-touching provision and restrictions on hours of operation — does not violate the First Amendment or other constitutional rights of performers or business owners, nor are its definitions overbroad.
