Scotch Continues To Grow In U.S., Emerging Markets
Well into 2011, Scotch whisky is reporting a more than 20 percent rise in the value of its exports, with the United States at No. 1 and emerging markets, such as Taiwan and Brazil, solidifying the growth.
The Scotch Whisky Association recently reported that the export value growth for the first half of ’11 was nearly matched by the growth in volume.
None of this comes as a surprise to Dewar’s Brand Ambassador Gabe Cardarella. Scotch is enjoying an all-time high in popularity, he said, and the sky’s the limit.
