DISCUS: Food Safety Measure Avoids Duplicating Al-Bev Regs

WASHINGTON — Landmark food safety legislation passed recently by the U.S. Senate avoids duplicative regulatory schemes for distilled spirits that would have been implemented by both the Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Treasury’s Alcohol Tax and Trade Bureau, according to the Distilled Spirits Council.
