Lawsuit Challenges Toledo Smoking Ban

TOLEDO - A group of bar and restaurant last month filed a lawsuit claiming a recently enacted ban on smoking in public places is an unconstitutional governmental takeover of private property. The ordinance took effect in August and bans smoking in most restaurants, bars and bowling alleys unless they have a separately ventilated smoking lounge.
