Sanctions May Be Cut With Training

COLUMBUS - Permit holders in Ohio could see their punishment for liquor law violations decrease if employees responsible for serving alcohol complete server training after Gov. Bob Taft signed legislation initially introduced by Sen. David Goodman (R-, Bexley). Goodman introduced Senate Bill 23 in response to a shooting incident on the north side of Columbus involving a bouncer and a bar patron.
