Incomplete Application Can Bog Down Transfer

Permit holders must file an application for transfer of ownership or ownership and location with the Division of Liquor Control when they sell the permit business to another. The application must be approved by the division before the liquor permit's ownership or ownership and location is transferred. That process often takes longer than permit holders anticipate.
