Carlsberg Severs Ties With Labatt USA, Barton Beer

COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Carlsberg Breweries announced last month it will create a new company to import, distribute and market its beer brands in the U.S. The creation of Carlsberg USA will consolidate the Carlsberg-owned brands - Carlsberg, Carlsberg Elephant, Tuborg Gold, Tetley's and Double Diamond - which are currently sold and distributed by three separate companies, including Labatt USA and Barton Beers.
