U.S.-Australia Free Trade Agreement Would End Tariffs On Distilled Spirits

WASHINGTON - The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States announced last month that Australia has agreed to eliminate its duties on all distilled spirits imported from the United States. As soon as the U.S.-Australia free trade agreement goes into effect, Australia will abolish its 5 percent duty on all U.S.-originated spirits.
