Law Prohibits Temporary Premises Expansions

On-premises permit holders often wish to have one-time special events in their parking lots, such as for St. Patrick's Day, at which alcoholic beverage can be sold and consumed. Some permit holders believe they can temporarily expand their premises to include their parking lots or they can be issued a temporary permit for such an event. However, neither is true.
