Enterprising Agency Gets Sunday Sales

The Division of Liquor Control is the sole purchaser, distributor and retailer of spirituous liquor in Ohio. Sales are conducted by private businesses that contract with the division to act as our sales agents for those products. These businesses operate retail and wholesale sales of spirituous liquor for off-premises consumption only. By policy, the division's contract has always prohibited sales on Sundays by contract agencies.
