NEW YORK - A new report from independent market analyst Datamonitor found that the imported beer market has grown 41 percent since 1998 to reach a value of $12.3 billion last year, with the average American now drinking 26 bottles of imported beer a year. The U.S. beer market has been sluggish. Volume sales stood at 196.
