Supreme Court Hears Direct Shipping Arguments

WASHINGTON - U.S. Supreme Court justices reacted skeptically earlier this month to claims that states do not have the authority to regulate the sale and distribution of alcohol within their borders if they so choose. The U.S. Supreme Court heard cases Dec. 7 involving laws in Michigan and New York that allow direct instate, but not out-of-state, wine shipments.
