COLUMBUS - The Ohio Ethics Commission last month recommended that two attorneys be criminally charged for improperly giving more than $5,000 in gifts to employees of the Ohio Division of Liquor Control. The investigation by the commission determined that attorneys Eugene Stevens and G. Bernard Harris provided a ""substantial amount of compensation and/or gifts"" during 2002 and 2003 to more than 30 division employees.
