New Beer Products Attract Women, Boost Industry

LONDON - The introduction of low-carb and light beer products is bringing renewed vigor to what has been a flagging U.S. beer market, according to new research by independent market analyst Datamonitor, with consumption by women apparently providing the boost. The report found 30 percent of the volume of beer consumed in the United States was consumed by women.
