Wine Institute Offers Changes To Ad Standards

SAN FRANCISCO - Significant revisions are being considered for the Wine Institute Code of Advertising Standards, according to the advocacy group for California wineries. The most recent review of the code began in April 2004 in an effort to update provisions and to revisit recommendations made by the Federal Trade Commission in its review of alcoholic beverage advertising in 1999 and 2003.
