The Liquor Control Act prohibits any person from hindering or obstructing ""any officer of the law"" from making an inspection or search of a permit premises. Law enforcement officers include compliance officers from the Division of Liquor Control and enforcement agents from the Ohio Department of Public Safety. Upon presentation of credentials, the agent must be immediately permitted on the permit premises ""for any lawful purpose.
