National Tavern Month

More than 50 years ago this month, an Ohio tavern owner was the impetus for a nationwide promotion that touted the neighborhood tavern as the ""Friendliest Place in Town.""For the 54th year, tavern owners throughout the country are celebrating May as National Tavern Month.
