It's a good bet most members of Ohio's veteran's and fraternal clubs are not well versed in Latin. But through recent events, they've learned the hard way the meaning of one Latin phrase: caveat emptor.Caveat emptor, or ""let the buyer beware,"" will be private clubs' motto from now on whenever anyone offers a deal that seems too good to be true.
