Bills Would Raise Fees, Limit Transfers Of C Permits

COLUMBUS - In an effort to reduce the number of establishments with liquor licenses in certain communities, a state lawmaker from Cleveland last month introduced two bills targeting off-premises permits. House Bill 272 would increase the annual fee for C-1, C-2 or C-2X liquor permits.
