Kasich Signs Order To Implement 'Racino' Rules

COLUMBUS — Gov. John R. Kasich last month signed an executive order for rules for video lottery terminals at Ohio racetrack facilities.

The rules create categories for the VLT employees, allow for VLT licensing to begin and money for education, and outline the licensing fees and facility requirements.

The rules took effect immediately, but must also go through the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review process.
