Irish whiskey continues to boom as fastest growing category

The Concannon Vineyard is now in the Irish whiskey business.

The California-based winery, which just celebrated its 128th consecutive harvest, recently released its new Concannon Irish whiskey.

The whiskey has been described as a tribute to the company’s founder, James Concannon.

“He was born on St. Patrick’s Day in Ireland,” said John Concannon, brand ambassador for Concannon Irish whiskey, of his great-grandfather. “He was born with the luck of the Irish out of the gate.”
