The dollar sales of spirituous liquor reached a record level in 2011, totaling $793.7 million.

This was an increase of 5.3 percent, exceeding the previous year’s total by $40 million. This achievement is due in part to our focus on better inventory management and improved customer service helping us better meet the needs of Ohio consumers. Tastes have also become increasingly more sophisticated, and Ohioans are buying more of the premium products, including the many new items and flavored products.
