ODLC Partners With Pernod On PSAs

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Division of Liquor Control has joined forces with spirits and wines supplier Pernod Ricard USA to sponsor televised public service announcements warning consumers about the dangers of drunken driving.

The 30-second spots, which aim to dismiss common excuses used to justify drunken drinking, aired on multiple cable stations — including Comedy Central, Spike TV and Food Network — throughout Ohio during the week prior to Christmas and the week prior to New Year’s Eve. Liquor stores in the state also provided signage to reinforce the TV messaging.
