BIGGEST BREWER — Helped by its expansion into Ohio last year, D.G. Yuengling & Son recently surpassed Boston Beer Co. as the largest domestic-owned brewer in the U.S. According to Beer Marketer’s Insights, Yuengling’s sales increased 17 percent last year, to 2.5 million barrels, compared to 2.4 million barrels of Boston Beer’s Samuel Adams brands. Yuengling entered the Ohio market for the first time in October.
