BOURBON BENEFICIARIES — At least one Ohio non-profit organization was among more than 170 that participated in the Buffalo Trace Distillery Millennium Barrel project. The project began with the last bourbon barrel filled at the distillery in the 20th century, which was bottled in June 2011, yielding 174 bottles. These bottles, featuring hand-written and number labels, and packaged in a numbered hardwood case with a piece of the barrel’s charred oak stave, were offered to non-profit organizations wishing to raise funds for their charity.
