Ohio Restaurants Continue To See Modest Growth

COLUMBUS — The Ohio restaurant industry was hit hard by the recession and its recovery has been slow, but that modest recovery does continue and industry experts say they expect sales to improve again this year.

“Based on the feedback we’ve been hearing from our members, the sentiment is that the economy is improving,” said Jarrod Clabaugh, director of Communications for the Ohio Restaurant Association. “They’re optimistic, but I should say they’re cautiously optimistic.”
