Appeals Court OKs Permit After Bar Changes Management

COLUMBUS — A recent 10th District Court of Appeals opinion found that a liquor permit may be renewed if the permit holder has addressed all previous problems.
The three-judge appellate panel rejected the city of Elyria’s claims that the Ohio Liquor Control Commission abused its discretion by renewing a bar’s liquor permit because the bar had changed management in an attempt to alleviate its reoccurring issues.
