Diageo Opens Renovated Maryland Facility

RELAY, Md. (PRNewswire) — Diageo recently completed more than $50 million in renovations to its 60-acre blending and packaging facility here.

Established in 1933 as the first legal distillery in the state of Maryland following the repeal of Prohibition, the Relay facility processes and bottles distilled spirits including Jose Cuervo, Captain Morgan and Seagram’s, and will add Smirnoff vodka early next year.
