ON THE MOVE — The former executive chef of Milestone 229 in Columbus has headed south for a new bar/restaurant on Louisville, Ky.’s Bourbon Row. Veteran chef Christian Hattemer is now general manager of Down One Bourbon Bar, a “rustic, yet comfortable joint” at Third and Main streets in Louisville. Down One features more than 100 bourbons, local craft beer, specialty cocktails and wines by the glass, as well as a distinctive food menu. It is one of several additions slated for Bourbon Row, including Michter’s Distillery and Heaven Hill’s Evan Williams Bourbon Experience.
