COLUMBUS — There will be no change to the rules governing spirits tastings at contract liquor agency under the biennium state budget signed June 30 by Gov. John Kasich.

The budget which emerged from the Senate last month included language expanding the area of an agency in which spirits tastings may be held, as well as increasing the number of tastings allow each month. Those provisions were removed by the conference committee before the bill was sent to Kasich.
