HOUSTON (PRNewswire) — A number of wine and spirits producers and importers recently prevailed in an intellectual property dispute before the U.S. International Trade Commission.

The ITC last month terminated an investigation of patent disputes related to product packaging brought against more than a dozen wine and spirits, cosmetics and consumer electronics companies by Lamina Packaging Innovations LLC of Longview, Texas. In its complaint, Lamina alleged certain products having laminated packaging and components infringed on one or more of its U.S. patents.
