COLUMBUS — After coming close last year, brewmasters at Anheuser-Busch’s Columbus brewery recently succeeded in creating a beer selected for the company’s “Project 12” sampler pack.

Three unique beers, all featuring Budweiser’s signature yeast and named for the ZIP code where the beer was brewed, became available in the sampler pack late last month. One of the beers, Batch 43229, was developed at the Columbus brewery. It is a deep amber lager brewed with chocolate and caramel malts and finished on Beechwood chips.
