COLUMBUS — For the second time this year, the Ohio Restaurant Association is coming to the defense of the restaurant industry in the face of walk-outs earlier this month by fast-food workers in about 100 cities.

In a statement, ORA said the recent round of union-organized protests against fast-food restaurants are “unfair and demean thousands of hardworking Ohioans.” The protests are part of a movement to get the federal minimum waged increased from its current level of $7.25 an hour.
