The Associated Press recently reported on a government operation that gives the National Security Agency’s snooping a run for its money.

The National Roadside Survey of Alcohol and Drugged Driving is different things to different people. Federal transportation officials call the survey a vital tool in monitoring highway safety. Critics, according to AP, say it is intrusive and probably unconstitutional.
