Columbus Winter Beerfest Is Jan. 17-18

COLUMBUS — The 10th annual Columbus Winter Beerfest is slated for Jan. 17-18 at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

This year’s Beerfest, presented by Taft’s Brewing Co., will feature more than 130 breweries pouring more than 350 craft beers, along with local food trucks and live music.

“Every year we work to top ourselves, but turning 10 is special.” said event co-founder Matt King. “From securing some unbelievable small batch beers to upgrading the Connoisseur Reception space and so much more, we’re stepping up every aspect of the event.”

Proceeds from Beerfest will benefit Animal Rescue Partners and I Have a Dream Rescue Organization.

“Our 10th anniversary will be a great party for 10,000-plus people, absolutely. But giving back to the community is a core value for us,” said event co-founder Craig Johnson. “If you love animals like we do, you can eat, drink and dance knowing that you’re also giving back.”
